No, it is free to register with SkateXchange. Registering will allow you to view and contact sellers.

If you wish to list an Ad on SkateXchange there is a small fee of £1 for a 4 week listing which is used to cover the up-keep of the site

  • To buy an Ad click the ‘Add to Cart button’ from any SkateXchange page

  • Once you have your Ad you can view your cart and pay by clicking wherever you see the cart link 

  • After clicking a cart link you will be taken to your cart where you can manage and pay for your Ad.
  • There are 2 ways to pay Express Checkout or Standard Checkout both will give you the option to Pay by Card or PayPal


Express Checkout

  • This will take you straight to the PayPal payment portal where you can pay using a PayPal account or pay as a guest using your credit/ debit card

 


Standard Checkout

  • Will take you through the reviewing of your order on SkateXchange.co.uk and once you submit it you will be taken to the standard PayPal portal where you can pay using a PayPal account or click don’t have an account and pay as a guest using your credit/ debit

 


  • Once you have paid you will see a new button appear at the top SkateXchange, Clicking this will take you to the Ad Editor where you can create your Ad

Ad Editor

  • The Ad editor form is very easy to use to add or edit you Ad, just follow it down adding or editing your Ad's information and press Save

  • The * symbol indicates a field is required 

  • Add a title for your Ad (Required)

  • Select your ice rink (Required)

  • Select some details about you item to get it listed in the correct area of SkateXchange (Required)

  • Add how much you would like for your item (Required)

  • You can upload an image if you like

  • Then add a description 

  • Thats all there is to it dont forget to 'Press Save'


Edit 

  • You can edit, un-publiish or re-publish your ad by visiting it and clicking on the EDIT tab at the top 

  • Once you have made any changes you will have some more options at the bottom. Just click the one you require 

 

 

  • Its easy to administer your Ad's during their listing period. Just click on 'My Account' 

  • Select the 'Ad History' tab

 

  • Choose the Ad you wish to modify

 

  • Note - If you Publish an expired Ad it may look like it is listed but it will unlist within a sort period

Without your valid e-mail address, we cannot send our membership activation e-mail to you. It is also needed to enable other members to contact you regarding your item.

A cookie is small file that gets stored on your PC. It contains information about the site. Cookies enable SkateXchange to log in automatically for you and remember your preferences amongst other things. Like many sites, SkateXchange, requires cookies for our site to work properly. Therefore, cookies must be enabled in your browser options. Every browser and version has different ways of setting cookies. Make sure you refer to your Browser help to set cookies. Cookies will do no harm to your computer.

You can change your registered e-mail address and other account information at any time. Just go to the "My Account" menu item and click the ‘Edit’ tab. After changing the required information don’t forget to click on the ‘Save’ button at the foot of the page.

It is most likely that you have not provided us with your correct e-mail address. Please check Your Profile and make sure your e-mail details are correct.

Your e-mail address is never displayed unless you put it in your item description (which we advise against). It is only sent to other registered users on the SkateXchange system to aid in contact regarding listed items.
